Tom Mueller is the Founder and CEO of Impulse Space, a company providing in-space transportation and logistics, including last-mile satellite delivery, Mars and lunar transportation, and other space activities to support the development of the space economy. Tom was one of the founding members of SpaceX, where he was responsible for building and leading the propulsion development group, which develops propulsion systems and engines for the Falcon and Starship launch vehicles and the Dragon spacecraft. At SpaceX, Mueller led the development of the Merlin rocket engine, which powers the Falcon 9, the most reliable launch vehicle in history. He cultivated the original team that led the development of the next-generation Raptor engine that will eventually enable humans to become a multi-planet species.
