Born in Canberra Australia and a graduate of the Australian National University and Macquarie University, David is a leading Australian tech entrepreneur, starting in the networking and comms market with Novell, running Asian marketing for Wellfleet Communications and then building the business for Xylan Corp in Australia/NZ David understands the needs of Enterprise, Government and Telco customers.

David was a pioneer in the mobile applications business starting in 2008 with the release of the first iPhone SDK and creating the global leading consumer apps BuzzMe, AdFree with a total user base of more than 6million users globally.

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Bigtincan, David is taking his experience in enterprise and adding his knowledge of how mobility works to drive productivity revolution, with a goal of helping workers all over the world to make the most of the new digital and remote world.

Bigtincan has grown from its founding in a small office over a coffee shop in Bathurst St Sydney to an ASX listed global leader in technology, with over 500 team members and more than 2,000 customers including 100 of the Fortune 500.

David is married with two children, hosts a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the Australian National University, and a Masters of Arts in Management from Macquarie University, and most importantly is an avid “dog person” with his third child, a white labradoodle called Monty.
