Philip Kirk is the SVP of Corporate Business Development at ServiceNow, where he oversees technology partnerships, venture investments, and acquisitions. He is a core member of the senior leadership team and works closely with the company’s CEO, senior executives, and board of directors. His team owns the build, buy, partner strategy for the company and charts the growth plan for ServiceNow to become the defining enterprise software company of the 21st century.Prior to joining ServiceNow in 2020 Philip spent over a decade at Cisco. He led enterprise software Corporate Development and drove the company’s growth in the EMEA market. During his time at Cisco, the company completed over 100 acquisitions, joint ventures and spin-ins, and Philip was personally responsible for several deals including the $3.8B acquisition of AppDynamics. He was also a leader of the Cisco Ventures Investment Committee and helped oversee the company’s $1.5B investment portfolio.Earlier in his career Philip spent time at Microsoft on the strategy team building the first business plans to launch Office 365. Philip was also an investment partner at DTEC Ventures, an early-stage fund focused on software, networking, and semiconductors, where he led the fund’s first exit and supported 3 IPOs from the portfolio. He has served on numerous private company boards and presently is a board observer at AppOmni and Noodle.AI. He is also an independent director at Riverbed, where he also serves as chairman of the compensation committee.
