Dr. Ofer Shacham was most recently VP and Head of Silicon at Meta, where he led the creation of silicon for Meta’s full AR glasses (“Orion”). Before Meta Shacham led Silicon Design and Implementation for Google, where he shipped the world’s first AI processors on phones. Shacham joined Google through the acquisition of his startup Chip Genesis.

Shacham served at an elite Israeli Navy Unit; he holds a Postdoc, Ph.D., and M.Sc. in EE from Stanford University, and a B.Sc. in EECS from Tel Aviv University. Giving back, he teaches at Tel Aviv University and advises graduate students researching AI.
