Jason Strle is Chief Information Officer and head of Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) for Wells Fargo Technology. He is also a member of the Wells Fargo Technology executive leadership team and the Wells Fargo Management Committee.
He is responsible for providing strategic technology solutions to Corporate Risk, Human Resources, Technology, Finance, Legal, Audit, Marketing and Public Affairs functions at Wells Fargo. As CIO for these corporate functions, Jason works closely with business partners as well as internal and external technology partners to create a competitive advantage and positive customer impact through innovation, simplification and an obsession with the customer experience.
Jason also serves Market Leader for all of Wells Fargo’s employees in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as the Technology Leader for the Bay Area’s technology employees. In this role, is responsible for creating a strong Wells Fargo culture that starts with belonging and inclusion, while also creating opportunities to engage and contribute. He champions a workforce that represents the communities we serve, and continues to foster the career growth and wellbeing of our employees. Jason also serves on the Bay Area Public Affairs Council to help guide charitable work.
Jason has significant experience reengineering and transforming banking platforms, agile delivery transformation, product / journey centric management, and payments. Jason joined Wells Fargo in 2018, as the CIO of Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation then transitioned to the CIO for Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Jason worked at JPMorgan Chase where he was CIO for Consumer Banking, Small Business, and Auto Finance Businesses and Enterprise Core Banking Platforms. Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Jason held software developer roles at NetJets and Limited Brands.
Jason has his degree in Computer Science from Ohio University and is based in San Francisco, California.
