Grant Demaree is the CEO and Co-founder at Onebrief. Grant graduated from West Point in 2013, where he double majored in Nuclear Engineering and International Relations. His first exposure to Operational Planning Teams was during the Ebola epidemic in Liberia, as part of JTF United Assistance, where he changed the way all Ebola data reporting was conducted country-wide. Later, he served with two other Joint Task Forces, CJTF-OIR and SOJTF-OIR in Baghdad. After witnessing planning across several commands, Grant got out of the Army to build a startup that would improve operational planning and decision-making.

Following his military service, Demaree co-founded Onebrief with Rafa Pereira, who previously served as director of product engineering at data.world. They were accepted to Y Combinator and ultimately raised over $103M in Venture Capital.

Onebrief has since grown exponentially. Today, it is in broad use across the largest military headquarters worldwide, with operational usage growing at an annualized rate of 5,300%.

Onebrief makes military staffs more than twice as fast and efficient, with multiple orders of magnitude improvement expected in the coming years. Military staff optimization will save DoD $39B per year and make the difference between success and failure in large-scale conflict.
