As a DGA guild director who has created graphically driven spots for Budweiser Crown, Green Mountain Coffee and the annual AICP Show, Gil Baron brings technical knowledge and creative outlook to every project. Whether building teams (helping Method Studios grow from 30 to 500+ employees over 9 locations), creating entire worlds, designing and integrating graphic elements or crafting CG characters, Baron brings 20+ years of set and post experience to maximize the quality of image and efficiency of process on every frame of every work from preproduction, production through completion.
As a CG technical supervisor for feature films, he created the 3d for the signature CG bullet wake effects on the first Matrix bullet time sequences, in addition to many additional feature credits.
Gil Baron has served as Creative Director and Visual Effects Supervisor with many esteemed directors including Dante Ariola, Noam Murro, Rupert Saunders, Tom Kuntz, Traktor, Frederic Bond, Dave Meyers, Tom Carty and as such, has been a part of many Cannes, Clio, and VES award winning teams. With over 200 commercial shoots under his belt, he loves being part of every project, from conception through completion.
