A competitive triathlete with a passion for optimizing wellness, Clayton Lewis loves to win and push boundaries. In 2014, he partnered with biotech pioneer Dr. Lee Hood to launch a new industry – scientific wellness. This collaboration resulted in the formation of Arivale, which Clayton leads as CEO. Arivale combines cutting-edge science, personalized data, and tailored coaching to deliver prioritized, actionable recommendations to inspire its participants to continually improve their wellness.
Clayton brings more than three decades of transforming early stage startups into fast-growth companies that rapidly dominate markets and in two cases became public companies. Recruited in 2007 as CEO of Kinetix Living, Clayton’s leadership resulted in the successful acquisition of the company — and his recruitment to Maveron, a consumer-only venture capital firm, as general partner, leading the health and wellness practice. In addition to his primary role as Arivale CEO, Clayton continues as a GP at Maveron, evaluating investments in the health and wellness sector and serving on the boards of Koru and NextFoods.
