Blythe Masters

Blythe Masters is a Founding Partner at Motive Partners, where she serves on the investment committee and is responsible for Motive’s strategic partnership with Apollo Global Management. She is President of Motive Capital Corp II, (NYSE:MTVC.U) the SPAC sponsored by Motive’s funds.

Masters is a Board Member of Credit Suisse Group AG (CSGN.SW), where she also serves as Chair of Credit Suisse Holdings (USA), Inc., GCM Grosvenor (NASDAQ: GCMG), Forge Global (NYSE: FRGE) and of CAIS. She chairs Wilshire’s Digital Asset Advisory Group, and is an advisor to Sandbox QA, (the enterprise quantum services business spun out of Google X), the US Chamber of Digital Commerce, Figure Technologies (the San Francisco based blockchain fintech), and Maxex (the residential mortgage exchange). She is a member of the Brookings Institution Taskforce on Financial Stability and P.R.I.M.E. Finance (the Hague-based Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance).

From 2015-18, Masters was CEO of Digital Asset, the blockchain fintech behind the groundbreaking blockchain market infrastructure project of the Australian Securities Exchange. Previously, she was a senior executive at J.P. Morgan, which she left in 2014 after a career spanning 27 years. She was a member of the Corporate & Investment Bank Operating Committee and the firmwide Executive Committee. Positions at J.P. Morgan included Head of Global Commodities, Head of Corporate & Investment Bank Regulatory Affairs, Chief Financial Officer of the Investment Bank, Head of Global Credit Portfolio and Credit Policy and Strategy, and Head of Global Structured Credit.

Masters is a Senior Scholar of Trinity College, Cambridge where she received a B.A. in Economics.
