Andy Bartlett joined Amazon 26 years ago, to help launch the company’s second product line — music (as in, CDs and vinyl and tapes!). There are only 37 people at Amazon who have been there longer than Andy; he’s been there longer than 99.998% of the current employees. He’s helped build more than a dozen businesses across Amazon – from Amazon’s original foray into TV to the Kindle and book publishing and more. Today, Andy manages Jon Jones’s executive engagements. Andy earned his Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of Washington, albeit in fields far from technology and science.
