Scale Computing
Indianapolis, IN
Scale Computing is the leader in hyperconverged infrastructure for midsize organizations, with over 1,000 customer deployments of its HC3 product. Gartner predicts 40% of midsize organizations will rip-and-replace traditional infrastructure in favor of appliances like HC3 over the next 4 years, and Scale is perfectly poised to take advantage of this $22B global opportunity.
Radically simplifying IT infrastructure, HC3 provides turnkey on-site/private cloud infrastructure without the use of VMware or SAN storage. Scale’s core IP is in its SCRIBE software defined storage technology, and in HyperCore, a self-healing cluster management OS.
Many of Scale’s customers fit the 100-1000 employee profile, plus brand names include NATO, Auburn University, City of London, Oxford University, and Safran Aerospace. Key partners include CDW and Dell.
Scale raised a $10M A’ Round last year, and is currently raising a new round. Sales are expected to grow from $9M in 2014 to $20M in 2015.
